Candidate resources

Monday, June 13, 2016
6:30 p.m.
Room 319, City Hall - 350 S. Fifth Street

All candidates appearing on a primary ballot in Minneapolis and their campaign staff were invited to attend this forum to learn more about key information for Minneapolis voters in the Primary. In advance of the opening of absentee voting on June 24, Elections & Voter Services shared details about how in-person absentee voting will be handled in Minneapolis this year, including the designation of a new absentee voting location at the Early Vote Center located at 217 S. Third St., one block away from City Hall. The City will be serving all voters who wish to vote early by in-person absentee at this location. Resources and information were provided at the forum that can be shared with voters about voter registration basics, how to vote early by absentee by mail ballot, and how the in-person absentee voting process works this year. There was also an opportunity for candidates and campaigns to ask questions.

Another Candidate Forum will be held in advance of the Nov. 8 General Election.
