Temporary Elections positions available

We are looking for people to help with the 2014 election season as temporary employees. This includes preparing for and administering the Primary Election on August 12 and the General Election on November 4.

Individuals with strong customer service skills, good written and verbal communication skills, computer and keyboarding skills, and prior elections experience including serving as an election judge make great candidates for these positions which have the potential to run from June through December. Applicants able to demonstrate fluency in a second language are especially needed. Individuals will be assigned to work at City Hall or the Elections Warehouse in Northeast Minneapolis. Some positions may require travel between the two locations.

Applications are now being accepted for two different position classifications: Elections Office Support Specialist I and Election Judges for Absentee Voting and Election Support.

The Application can be downloaded and printed out, and mailed in, submitted electronically via email, or faxed. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. Start dates for temporary positions will vary depending on the focus of the tasks.
