Voting during COVID-19

Keep yourself, other voters, and election workers safe.

Stay at home and vote by mail

To minimize direct contact with others, the CDC encourages you to vote by mail

All Minnesota voters are eligible to vote by mail. It’s easy to vote by mail, just as long as you plan ahead a bit.

The 2021 Municipal Election mail ballot application will be available soon.

Polling places follow COVID-19 guidelines

If you do not want to vote by mail, you can still choose to vote early in-person or on Election Day. The City of Minneapolis follows recommended guidelines to provide a safe and healthy environment for all voters and election judges.

If you plan to vote in person on Election Day, be sure to look up your polling place.
