Information sessions for candidates

We recently hosted two information sessions for candidates and campaign workers. The sessions were also open to media representatives and members of the general public.

Session 1 on May 18: What to know about the candidate filing process

We'll overview the three different steps of the filing process. This includes talking about what you'll do with the City and County. We plan to leave time at the end to make sure we answer your questions, too.

Session 2 on June 23: The roles and responsibilities of the Mayor and City Council

Our City Clerk will walk through the job description of the Mayor and City Council. This session is aimed to give candidates a good idea of their role, if elected. There is a new candidate orientation document to go along with this presentation. It will be emailed to all session participants and is also linked below.
