Prospective Minneapolis candidates file for office with us between July 27 - August 10. Offices on the ballot this year include: Mayor, City Council, Board of Estimate & Taxation, and Park & Recreation Board.

Work on Election Day

Apply to be an election judge at one of our Election Day polling places.

Register to vote

You can register on Election Day, but it's quick and easy to do it online ahead of time.

Ranked choice voting (RCV)

We'll be using RCV this year! This means voters will rank multiple candidates in order of their preference.
